With fall in the air, we've been having more grilled cheese and tomato soup lately!
Had a pumpkin patch playdate with Mckenzie, her cute baby bump, and her sweet little Penny. LOVE these folks.
I see Grandpa Moore in this face! (My dad)
Surprised daddy at work this week (he's been working hard on his parent's shop and house). Marli had a conversation with daddy about the awfulness of him going out of town for several days...and she showcased her leapfrogging skills...
After the awfulness of being away from Evan last week, Marli and I decided to accompany Evan on his work trip to Hermiston this week!
Don't worry...nothing but ice left in daddy's cup...haha
Next time we do this WE ARE BRINGING THE STROLLER. With an itch to get out of the hotel during the day, and no car, we resorted to the baby carrier, some tennis shoes, and a hiking spirit! TALK ABOUT SORE SHOULDERS hahaha! LESSON LEARNED.
Took FULL ADVANTAGE of the hotel breakfast spread (Marli LOVED the French toast sticks)...
The hotel pool... (THANKS FOR THE FLOATY, GRAMMY!!!!)
Lunch breaks with daddy and Grandpa King...
LOTS of baths...
Time inspecting daddy's handiwork...and floor space to do our exercises...
And dinnertime all together...even if that meant it was a wee bit past our little one's bedtime...
Since we enjoyed seeing a little extra of Evan so much, we decided on a whim to go with him on ANOTHER overnight trip to Lebanon for his first med school interview! THIS TIME WE BROUGHT THE STROLLER.
Another round of time in the car...
Hotel breakfasts with our favorite interviewee...
Walks around the hotel garden (ONE WHOLE ACRE. It was BEAUTIFUL)...
And some 23 minute naps scattered here and there...
Decided to be brave and drove a little ways to a farmers market in Albany. It was a GORGEOUS fall day, and after sampling a few different things, Marli told me she MUST HAVE the blackberry applesauce. After buying it, we learned the orchard was named after Little House on the Prairie!
Walked a bit from there to the COOLEST carousel. The original device is from 1909, and all the animals are newer and hand-carved and painted!
WHEW! WHAT A WEEK! Evan felt his interview at Western went well...we should hear back in 2-3 weeks!
Naps on Sunday and some time at Grammys to wrap it up! (Tasting a honeycrisp apple here)
Aaaaaaaaaaaand we'll close with one of my ALL TIME FAVORITE PICTURES of my sweet little. I MEAN SERIOUSLY?!! SO CUTE!
