Our project this past week: Marli's strawberry patch! Along with a few tomato plants...
Marli is enraptured with Grandpa's silly songs and stories, and it's my favorite thing.

AAAAAAAANNND! We're off to the coast! Picked up some yogurt covered strawberry fruit snacks for the road and she INHALED them.

Nana picked this baby doll up for Marli, and she immediately bounced it up and down saying "shh shh shh" while giving her the bottle - think she watches me? haha

Made our way to Regatta Park for awhile, and Marli LOVED IT. Spent lots of time cuddled up on mama's lap, swinging. When it was time to go, Marli signed "eat" to NANA - even though I was the one holding her!
Just making sure everyone else's food tastes okay...
And the real reason for our trip...Evan helped Pop start a "Catio" (cat enclosure) for Mango!

Strawberry ice cream...
Just want to remember this...when you're grumpy and bummed about a project that didn't go as planned, sometimes all you need is a friend (ahem...Evan) to come start a pillow fight with you.
After such an event-filled weekend...we're feeling this!
