A Moore Kingly Life: Weekly Update - Fixin to Crawl, First Cold, 7 MONTHS!

Experimenting with new breakfasts that are easier to share with my Marli! Made an oatmeal bake Sunday, and it was GONE by Wednesday night! Also had sweet potato with peanut butter, bananas, chia seeds, maple syrup, and pecans...YUM!!

OBSESSED with baby story time at the Tigard library. Created for 0-12 month olds, and it is SO FUN! Bubbles, books, songs, bells, and LOTS of moms and babies! Even better when we can walk there with our friends!

Had a routine follow up appointment in Newberg, and was able to FINALLY introduce Marli to some of the dear nurses who took such good care of us during my pregnancy. Also visited a bit with Dr. Barske. SO MANY FEELINGS and shared tears... SO BLESSED to be in their care! (Missed Barb and Mary)

Not sure how I feel about this...!!

How dinner prep has been happening lately...

Marli had her first official cold this week...and the worst of it happened to be while Evan was out of town for work. THANK HEAVENS for reassuring calls late at night with my mom, and for good friends. Mica came over with a MARY POPPINS basket full of goodies...including a nasal aspirator that you use by sucking on the end...was totally grossed out at first, but it worked SO WELL (there's a filter so nothing ever gets to your mouth haha).

Lots of sleepless nights and snuggles and warm baths.

Strawberries continue to be a favorite over here!

Once Marli was feeling a bit better, we made it to Olive Garden to celebrate her 7 months of life! 7 MONTHS!!! COUNTLESS pregnancy dreams of this place's lasagna...
