MARCH

Her natural pose for art projects when she's REALLY concentrating

Kit taught us how to make giant purple sweet potatoes in our instant pots!
SO SO good.

Tummy time art projects!

Think he felt a little stir crazy?!
First day of week-long break in between semesters. I still had to work, so he spent the morning doing some much needed cleaning with Marli

Surprise mailbox art for Mason.
Her idea.

FINALLY got to share a favorite park of ours with Evan!

Sorting through old papers and found this.
SO CUTE - looks like Ryker!

"Lyla, Yayila, Lala, Lola, Lilo...but mostly LALA."

Visited butterfly exhibit at Children's Museum! So fun to have more of Evan around!

There was NO GLASS around this spider.
THIS SPIDER.
This one that's bigger than my face.
We left this exhibit very quickly.

Music making!

So sweet baby. Happy to be along for the ride.

Tornado science

SO excited to take her climbing for real with us someday!

Some friends of ours live on the COOLEST property!
They took us fishing and we roasted hot dogs.
And they even lent us some little girl clothes when Marli took a tumble into their pond.

Good buddies.

She prefers upside down sunglasses - I think because they stay on her nose better!

FINALLY got ourselves a double stroller off of Facebook Marketplace, and we LOVE it.
Compatible with our carseat, and allows our busy Marli the option to sit or stand.

Beach day with some of our favorite neighbors and friends.

Happy girl

2 years old, and 3 months old!

St. Patrick's Day cookie making with our friends!

She belongs outside.

This letter from Grammy that had her finger mouse inside MADE HER DAY!

She requested Lyla's blanket be turned into a cape.

I'm obsessed with her.

With the craziness of COVID-related things, I decided to bite the bullet and buy some patio furniture with a work bonus.
Evan helped put it together, and Marli made sure to bring her own doctor "tools" to help, too!

Virtual story time! WE LOVE OUR LIBRARY!

Frog catching.
Wearing mommy's running socks with sandals.

She requested this roasted broccoli for a snack.

Butterfly watching

Staying cool!

Sundays are our favorite.

Trying to be grateful for the opportunity to reflect and observe.

Snack break!

Love them. And their love for each other.

He wanted to make sure Lyla got a story before he helped make pizza.

Paint!

Cutest little chefs!

Doctor time!

Lyla LOVES Marli.
LOVES her.
Like, has a special shriek and smile and coo, just for her.

Quarantine has us baking. A LOT. I turned my back for a split second, and Marli climbed up and settled on eating the whole loaf at once - haha!

So grateful for FaceTime!

Still loves the rain!
